The project itself surrounds a dialogue that questions an individuals positioning with an object by utilizing materiality and manipulation of the ground plane to establish this narrative. The entry concerns a large concrete mass that the individual proceeds under before progressing into the transition space, where thin walls and overhead conditions of wood alongside long descending steps create striations that distort the axis established by the entry sequence. The slipping of the axis creates a moment of disorientation, where the individual becomes unsure of their relationship with the object until they spill into the arrival space. The arrival signals an end to the shift and uncertainty, as the materiality of the ground plane and walls becomes concrete, insinuating the individuals' occupation within the mass itself.
